1. Child Honouring Online Course (18 Hours)

Discover the foundation of Child Honouring through this self-paced, 18-hour online course. Guided by the Nine Principles for Child Honouring, you'll explore how compassion, sustainability, and respect for both Earth and child can shape a more caring world.

This course offers a blend of reflection, discussion, and real-world applications, ideal for anyone interested in creating positive change for children and communities.

  • Ideal for: Parents, caregivers, educators, and community leaders
  • Format: Online, self-paced
  • Duration: 18 hours
  • Cost: $125 CAD
    • Discounts are available for educators, students, and groups.  
  • Certificate of Completion provided
  • Eligible for professional development hours for Early Childhood Educators in BC and Ontario. Eligibility in other provinces may vary.

2. Child Honouring in Professional Practice (45 Hours – VIU Elective)

Offered through Vancouver Island University, this advanced 45-hour elective course deepens your understanding of Child Honouring as a framework for leadership and care.

You’ll examine how the Nine Principles can influence professional practice in education, policy, health, and community development. This course can be counted as an approved elective toward VIU’s Diploma in Health and Human Services.

  • Format: Online, through Vancouver Island University
  • Duration: 45 hours
  • Recognition: Approved VIU elective
  • Registration: Managed by VIU
