Please note, we are adjusting our granting cycle in 2027, so there will be no grant application intake in fall 2026.

Though we are taking a pause and will not be accepting applications in the fall of 2026, please know how deeply we value your work. We look forward to reconnecting and welcoming applications again in 2027.

The Raffi Foundation for Child Honouring supports a wide range of projects and initiatives that focus on the primacy of the early years and contribute to building community, regenerating ecosystems, and addressing climate change.

Our grants are designed to support one-time or short-term projects that care for the youngest inhabitants of our planet. Eligible projects include early childhood programs, tree-planting and community gardening initiatives, waste reduction strategies, elimination of toxic cleaning products, compost systems in schools and workplaces, advocacy and policy initiatives to reduce carbon emissions, etc. Priority is given to projects that are in alignment with two or more of the following

Organizations eligible to receive funding include:

  • registered charity in Canada
  • registered journalism organization
  • registered national arts service organization
  • registered municipality in Canada
  • registered municipal or public body performing a function of government in Canada
  • universities outside Canada, that are registered with the CRA
