A Course in Child Honouring

Join Raffi and educator Kristin Wiens in a compassion revolution. Based on Raffi’s Covenant For Honouring Children and its 9 principles, this is an interdisciplinary course in conscious living. Take the course to embrace Child Honouring and make it part of your life.

Course Registration

Discover the foundation of Child Honouring through this self-paced, 18-hour online course. Guided by the Nine Principles for Child Honouring, you’ll explore how compassion, sustainability, and respect for both Earth and child can shape a more caring world.

This course offers a blend of reflection, discussion, and real-world applications, ideal for anyone interested in creating positive change for children and communities.

Format: Online, self-paced
Duration: 18 hours
Cost: $125 CAD
Certificate of Completion provided. Eligible for professional development hours for Early Childhood Educators in BC and Ontario. Eligibility in other provinces may vary.

Toronto and Cities Across Canada Proclaim July 8 Child Honouring Day

Cities across Canada are recognizing Child Honouring, the movement founded by Raffi Cavoukian that calls for children’s needs to be at the heart of decision-making.

Toronto, Vancouver, and Victoria have proclaimed July 8 as Child Honouring Day, marking an important milestone for the movement and coinciding with Raffi’s birthday.

The recognition comes during a significant year for Child Honouring, as 2026 marks 50 years since Raffi released Singable Songs for the Very Young. It also comes as the Foundation continues its advocacy for stronger protections for children, including a minimum age for social media.
