What is a Child Honouring Ambassador?

A Child Honouring Ambassador is someone who upholds A Covenant for Honouring Children and its Nine Principles and inspires others to do the same by doing one or more of the following:

· sharing their knowledge with family, friends, colleagues, and community
· inviting and/or sponsoring friends to take the Child Honouring course
· organizing a Child Honouring Day event
· completing an innovative project that puts the principles into practice.

When you complete the Child Honouring course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. To become a Child Honouring Ambassador, simply send us a request by email (admin@raffifoundation.org) and include a photo of you with your Certificate of Completion.

Raffi Foundation for Child Honouring is located on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish people, specifically the Hul’qumi’num and SENĆOŦEN speaking peoples. Salt Spring Island includes the territories of the Quw’utsun Tribes, Penelakut Tribe, Lyackson, Halalt, Tsawwassen, Tsawout, Tsartlip, Tseycum, Pauquachin, and Malahat First Nations. We also acknowledge that our work reaches across many other First Nation territories, Metis Homelands and Inuit Nunangat. We are committed to doing the personal and organizational work to address historic and ongoing injustices, and to prioritize mindful relationship-building, curiosity, and meaningful action.
